After the incident of 9/11, many young Muslim women in Europe are turning back to radical Islam. They find the act of covering their head not as ’self-erasure’ but as the way to freedom.
But how do the Westerners and the other non- Muslims feel about it? They may feel whatever but Muslim women find it very comfortable to wear veil that leaves only the eyes on the public view. Wearing the veil make them feel more confident, as the people then do not judge them by their looks but by their characters.
