Published by Smith Davies, the book named ‘Women Who Changed the World’, is all bout the outstanding females who have accomplished a lot in this world. The book focuses on their achievements in all the fields like politics, literature, art, science, music, social reform, entertainment, sport and adventure.

A list of 50 women is discussed in this book who has contributed in shaping up the history in the contemporary world. Benazir Bhutto, the former Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Pakistan Peoples Party are one among them. She is one hell of a lady who I personally admire.

The entire nation of Pakistan today is proud of the fact the Bhutto is the only Muslim women who is listed in the book. More pertinent is the fact that she has been able to find a place amongst honorary figures like Mrs. Margaret Thatcher, Joan of Arc, Elizabeth 1, Catherine the Great, Jane Austen, Queen Victoria, Florence Nightingale, Marie Curie, Mother Teresa, Madame Mao, and Diana Princess of Wales.

I wouldn’t like to change a word of what she has said: so here I quote word to word of what the great lady said: ‘ When I was growing up I thought a woman could have it all and now I find that, ‘yes, a woman can have it all - but she has to be prepared to pay the price’.

‘I would like to be remembered for overturning a military dictatorship and heralding a world of democracy in Pakistan, for bringing in changes which could not be reversed which included an independent press and the move towards free markets - but above all I want to be remembered for what I did for women.’
