No one outside the prison knows what it feels to be confined within the world’s most notorious prison Abu Gharib. The media all the time comes up with sources reporting about the rape of the Iraqi women detainees inside the jail but we have not seen the reality.



However, with all the pictures posted over the net, we are bound to be petrified by seeing them. Many pictures show the US soldiers raping the women detainees at gunpoint. There are over 1,800 such pictures all splashed over the net, though we hardly know whether they are for real or fake ones.



Those who are doing this hardly think of the shame that will come upon those women behind the bars. The very thought of being locked in the jail already puts a question mark on the image of that poor woman and when the media further tries to glorify this sadist act of rape by printing it on the paper who will marry those unfortunate women?



There are real pictures, which are not released for the media and are under the file papers of the congress members. Even if the internet might be posting the pictures of such horrendous acts, there will be at least one true incident out of ten cases.



The situation is very ambiguous and the life of the women detainees is bleak, as being a prisoner of Abu Gharib has put a question mark on their character.
