Amidst the roaring violence crippling the women community in Iran, one event did lift up the spirit of the Iran women.



The opening ceremony of the fifth National Women’s Theater Festival kicked off on 15th this month with three of Iran’s veteran actresses - Mehri Mehrnia, Farrokhlaqa Hushmand, and Farideh Sepah-Mansur receiving prestigious awards for their major contribution to the movie world. All the three women were in tears while they were honored on stage.
