It appears to me that it has become a trend to put false allegations on Islam. I read how The Skeptic’s Annotated Quran has leveled charges against Islam by saying that Quran permits polygamy.
The Verse are wrongly interpreted. The Verse is in accordance to the seventh century. What it actually suggest is to take care of women whose husbands had died in wars and they can not take care of themselves. The verse are not applicable in today’s context.
