In an expected development, Muslim youth parties in the Sub-Saharan part of Africa are urging Muslim women not to be distracted by the ongoing campaigns that the westerners are carrying on in the name of gender equality.
The plea came up during a conference organized by the National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations (NACOMYO) in Kano.
The focus of the conference was to educate the Muslim women about the religion and know more about the Quran rather than joining the gender campaigning’s. They say that learning more from the Quran will help them in gaining knowledge about their rights.

I personally feel that this gender equality is some idea westerns are unable to understand themself...Men and Women are already equal ...they are two beautifull side of same coin just that they area of work is different...Men provider and women ruler on home front ..why mix them..like now it is happening in the world..both parents working and kids left to nanny or baby sitter or they own devices...in future these kids take to drugs and other crimianl activities...when basic family unit is not secure natually what whole commintiy will turn up...Women are no less then men...so no gender issue ...
