The custody battle for the Scottish girl, Misbah Rana, has got another twist in the story. The custodial battle had become high-profile case in Pakistan as well as in Scotland too.

Misbah had moved to Pakistan and decided to be her Pakistani father. Now the Scottish mother of Misbah Rana or Molly Campbell has decided to drop her case to get the full custody of her daughter.

The Pakistani Supreme Court has heard the statement of Louise Campbell’s decision for not pursuing the case now.

It is being said that because of bad health, the emotional strain of the legal case and most importantly the birth of her latest child, she decided to stop the legal action to get the custody of her daughter, Molly Campbell.

According to her lawyer, Nahida Mahboob Ellahi,

I have made an offer on behalf of my client that she will not insist on full custody provided regular meetings with her daughter take place.

Later, Ms Campbell showed her would telephone and internet contact to spend some holidays with Misbah.

The father of Misbah, Sajad Rana, was expected to appeal against the decision to return her to Scotland in the court.

But with this new development in the case, lawyers for both parents will discuss for the necessary arrangements for the next date of hearing on January 17.
