Price of Honor by Jan Goodwin revealed that how the Muslim men dominate women on the name of religion. He blamed the clerics for misinterpreting Islam, making it male dominating.
Goodwin has also pointed out that how women are malnourished by eating just the leftover though they work approximately three times then their male counterparts.
This book is worth reading as it highlights how the Quran is used by the men against women.
