Haideh Moghissi in his book Populism and Feminism in Iran has beautifully portrayed the struggle of Iranian women for their legal rights and personal freedom.
Moghissi has also described the attitude of Iranian socialists who refused to support the autonomous women’s organizations.
The book was an attempt to show a strong trend of Muslim women.
