The Islamic law of no-mixing of opposite sex has won again with the Lincoln Park Gym now having separate space both for men and women.
Fitness USA made an official declaration that to maintain privacy and comfort factor for the women customers they have placed a divider which gives the women a separate gym space.
The action was taken as nearly 200 Muslim Women forwarded a signed petition stating that Fitness USA has gone back on its words of providing separate work out place for both the sexes in Lincoln Park.
Not only the Muslim women customers but many of the non-Muslim women’s were also happy with the results as they felt that a unisex work out space is more of a meat market rather than a proper gym.
