Nearly 50 women in Uzbekistan were detained from studying the Qur’an when all of them gathered at Tashkent clothes factory worker’s home for an assembly meeting.
According to reports at DEMAZ, all these detainees had come together for an unauthorized session and this, said the concerned officers from the security, police, and prosecution department, was not legal.
However, with timely intervention by the Uzbekistan’s Committee of Protection of the rights of the personality, the women and other teenage girls were allowed to go home after fine was charged due to the no-permit meeting.
