Hi...this is indeed a welcoming break that Hammasa Kohistani is providing to the Muslim women community.

I don’t see what’s ”awesome” about any women, be their muslim or non-muslim walking around like ”eye candy” for men.

The first thing the bible told us was ”after adam and eve sinned, they went to find clothes.” Heck, even the animals don’t walk around without their furs.

Awesome? I think not. That goes for muslims and non-muslims alike.

I believe a little mystery about a women, makes real more appealing. Now, everybody knows what’s there.

however, people have a right to do whatever they want and will pay the price later for not obeying Allah(swt).

Well, it seems you are really against women being the centre point of attraction. As long as a women know what she is doing, what the hell is wrong in ruling her own life.

if theyre sayin wot i think theyre sayin they shud be sho*t (not literally tho)
when they say ”She believes that it is not necessary that all Muslim women wear veils” thats a total lie and falsification coz none of us has any idea what she believes, they then say ”i quote” - how stupid!!! theyre quoting somthin that clear;y has nothing to do with wot she said - she was basically saying tht not everyone does wear, not tht not everyone SHUD wear. and anyway, wot do they mean by ”the veil”, i think this further magnifies their stupidity, coz i hear the word veil flying around and it seems to mean the headscarf, whereas burqa (which is what she said) is somthing different isnt it? - coz i always saw it referring to what some afghani women were forced to wear, and that would make it 2 separate whole issues.

but wot really got me infuriated, is what i thought they might be implying but i hope i am wrong, and its only a possibility tht theyre saying wot i think theyre saying, but im gettin angry at the possibility :S

excuse me??? to her fellow sisters, and what might this message possibly be; if she was conveying a message surely it was at THE WEST!!! unless those tards (journalists i assume) think or would like to think that her so called message is to not wear the hijab?!?! because thats wot they stupidly seemed to state before they first quoted her.

Nafisa...Say Allah(swt) is a liar when he revealed this ayah in the Quran. Say you are more clever then Allah(swt).

I dear you say, the Quran is stupid, and Allah who revealed this Quran is a liar.

Allah said in the Quran ”Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty......And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what ordinarily appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms....” (Quran 24:30,31).

Male first lower your gaze, then female lower your gaze. It’s for modesty.

”O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the believing women that they should cast their outer garments over their bodies (when abroad) so that they should be known and not molested” (Quran 33:59).

Do you understand, covering is a sign of respect, not oppression. Allah(swt) said so that you will not be molested. How many times have you heard of a muslimah or a nun for that matter being molested (raped)?

So little girl, say this blessed Quran is a fake!

sister dear it is not that i am against the teaching of Quran..did Quran permit the honor killings, did quran permit female foeticide, did Allah say that a woman who is raped needs to be sentenced to death and not pay her justice.

If you want to talk about ”dishonest killing of female” again lol! this shit is not legal in Islam. Which Sahabah killed his daughter after taking his shahadah?

A sister that was raped of course she will get her revenged thru Allah(swt). No where does Allah(swt) says in Quran that a muslim women will get accused, raped and dealt with unjustly and he will not revenge for her.

Female foeticide is mentioned in the Quran. Allah(swt) said ”on the day on judgement, he will ask the female for what she was killed for? For anyone with a little bit of knowledge of the deen....this will be a warning for you or against you. You kill female girl child, Allah(swt) will grant this girl Jannah automatically, and he will avenge her death. Don’t worry about these babies, they are in Jannah with Allah(swt). They are in a much better place trust me then you and I.

Now, back to the topic this photo speaks about.

It is a topic about ”modesty” and not all the things you are trying to talk about for which this is not what the topic is about at all.

Modesty and Dishonor killing is two different topic. If you want to talk about Dishonor topic, then talk about that. If you want to talk abot Modesty...you get my point.

Remember, the Prophet Mohammed never lied, even before he was a Prophet, he was known Al-Amin.

Now, he said. The hands and face is the only things to be un-covered. Is he a liar?

Allah(swt) says: Do it so that Men won’t be excited by your beauty and molest you. Is Allah(swt) a liar?

No sweat Ameera, I am not deviating from the topic...talking about beauty, its god-gifted and its your wish how you carry it...provided you stay safe...and its upon the Muslim women who wants to wear the veil or she doesn’t. No one has the right to force her from sporting the Veil and Burqa or discarding them.

Coming to the beauty pageant...its her talent that has bought her the pinnacle of glory and there is nothing wrong in winning the crown. Precisely to be honest she has her own say.

About wearing the Burqa in scorching summers...many health experts have said that it is unhealthy and one more thing don’t anyone know that the color black absorbs too much of heat during the summers which is definitely not advisable because of health hazards.

You are saying that Allah will avenge for the rape victim...But poor soul what is the use of avenging for her after she goes for heavenly abode that is what you said.

I do not deny that there is no god…but my dear sister have you seen life after death...and have you met god...have he said to you that he will take revenge for her...my point here is why has god gifted man with a brain and will power...to fight against injustice right?

It is our duty and the duty of the lawmakers to give the women justice rather than waiting for some invisible power which we have never seen, to complete the task.

I just want to make sure that you understand that the veil does not protect you from rape. check out yemen! and the rest of the world! most rapes are of young girls and boys before the age of veil! by sick older men! please read the local newspapers about rape in yemen and you will see the veil does not help and it actually intriques young men to fantasize about whats under the veil and women can no longer go out without harrassment even when they are fully covered!
