The World and I, an online magazine has discovered that around 50 women each tear in Jordan are imprisoned on ‘honour’ related cases. Most of these women after the release were killed by their families. According to the laws women can only be released on an assurance of a male relative that they would not be murdered. But it was found that they are murdered within few hours of their release. Around 75 percent of the honor killings are committed by the brother of the victim.



This is something really horrible. There is a need of a strict law against such heinous crime.
