Barbaric Taliban era of Afghanistan presents a horrible picture of the Muslim world, where the women were abused mentally and physically, they didn’t have access to education, were stoned, caged, brutally beaten to death and executed publicly. In fact, they lived a life of a slave.
But with the pasage of time, they have really changed the meaning of feminism and have made their presence felt in the Muslim world. The best example is the rise of female militancy in the Arab world with the name of ‘New Arab Women’. This changing attitude of Muslim community towards the women has ignited a ray of hope of women’s liberty.
