With the Muslim Women community already being devastated by so much of gender discrimination policies, a recent law has added fuel to the burning anger of the women rights activists in Gulf.

With the declaration made on the 12th of April by Mecca-based Islamic Jurisprudence Assembly that Misyar Marriage is permissible has enraged the women all through out the region.

This makes it legal for the Sunni Muslim men to get married to a women but he is not obliged to either live with her or help her financially.

The Islamic Tribunal states:

A marriage contract in which the woman relinquishes [her right to] housing and support money ... and accepts that the man visits her in her [family] house whenever he likes, day or night ... is valid.

This kind of marriage is very much popular in Saudi Arabia where the men folk hunt for Misyar Women over the internet.

My question here is what would happen to a woman when she is divorced: she is already receiving no financial aid and now if she is divorced by her husband, does she stand to receive any kind of alimony.
