A three-day dialogue has started today in Quezon City, where nearly 50 revered religious leaders from the Muslim community will get engaged in a brain-storming session with people from several fields such as the women’s rights activists, lawyers, Sharia judges and local officials from the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).

The centre point of this three-day long event will be to bring into light the aged old religious practices and beliefs in Islam and what are its impact on the life of a man and a woman.

Furthermore, these connoisseurs from the community will also be balancing the issue of gender bias along with the more thought provoking and progressive elucidation from the Holy book Qur’an.

The result is come to a solution that will help in making decisions regarding the introduction of reformations, which will be incorporated within the Sharia and the Code of Muslim Personal Laws (CMPL), if everything goes well.
