Benazir Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan has shown deep concern regarding the escalating rate of terror and violence in Pakistan.
Mz. Bhutto has written in a column for The Guardian, stating that President Pervez Musharraf has transformed Pakistan into a ’seedbed of terrorism’ and this has resulted in the setback of the safeguard of the human rights in the country and particularly of ‘women’s right’.
The ex-Prime Minister has accused General Musharraf of being too much busy in buttering and backing up the West in their treacherous ‘war-on-terrorism’, and this has ultimately led to the neglect of the empowerment of women and their interests.
