In Bahrain, a 2 day long conference was coordinated by US State Department and the Bahraini foreign ministry to discuss about the empowering of Islamic Women in the conservative Muslim areas.
The conference named “Success of women as leaders of change,” aimed on highlighting those women who have tasted success in their lives. From over 16 Arabic nations, 100+ women came down all the way to Bahrain to be a part of analysis on the politico-economic empowerment of the women folks.
The event was organized mainly to provide moral boost to all the women to achieve their goal in life.
As told by Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Mubarak al-Khalifa, an official from the foreign Ministry of Bahrain: “We sought to turn the spotlight on the successes.’
