Tatarstan will be going to have its first ever congress of Muslim women in the capital, Kazan. Tatarstan is one of the biggest Islamic communities in the Russian Federation. The event will be attended by around 340 women, representing around one million Muslim women of Tatarstan.
It is first time since 1917, that the forum like this has been organized in Russia. The delegates will discuss on the issues such as education, values, the fight against the negative phenomenon of the society and the possibility of cooperation with other organizations.
