Imam Labadia was surprised by a FBI visit in her home. It was because Labadia’s co-worker was suspicious that her family was making bombs in their house. The fear was just because she is a Muslim woman and wears traditional hijab.
The incident inspired Labadia and she organized a community-wide initiative to educate people about Islam and the issues faced by the Muslim community at home and abroad.
This particular event reveals the image of Islam among the people. This is because the media, including writing, art and film always highlight the negative aspect of the religion.
