When it comes to Muslim women, the very first image flashing accross one’s mind is of a ‘oppressed women’. But then, if one listen to the British converts, one has to change one’s view.
According to the British converts, all these allegations on Islam are baseless. Islam treats women with dignity, which is well justified by the Prophets words - ‘Paradise is at my mother’s feet.’
It is because most of these British women are well educated and they can clearly diffrentiate between Islamic teachings and the cultural practices.
