Unlike, the parlours in Kashmir and Qatar, those in Sulaimaniyah city are steadily gaining more popularity with no Taliban and Islamist terror group to threaten them.

In the country of Iraq, so far until date, Sulaimaniyah is known for its secured life and this has encouraged many women like 37-year-old, Fahima Sleman from Baghdad to relocate in the Kurdish city. Fahima had to move from her hometown due to the incessant bombings on the salons carried out by the insurgents.

Luckily, she made her way to Sulaimaniyah, where she managed to get a job at one of the Hairdresser shop with a package of $350 per month.

With the growing employment opportunities of women in the civil service departments as well as the private sector, the women community can afford to spend a lot for their fashion interest and this is resulting in the rocketing demand for beauty experts and parlours everywhere.

An estimated report states that currently there are 450 salons, which are drawing many Iraqi women, who just love to be in touch with the latest fashion statements.
