Souad life changed altogether when four years ago she was told by the Ministry of Health and Population she is tested positive for HIV. But she is not alone there are many like her in Egypt suffering from the deadly disease.
According to the statistics revealed by the UN 2005 Common Country Assessment of Egypt, around 64 percent of the people suffering from HIV infections in the country were caused due to heterosexual intercourse while 34 percent is due to the transfusion of infected blood.
