Five years back, the Afghan women would have never thought of even being a part of the any sport activities, but today they are national players of Afghanistan.
The women football team of Afghanistan was formed two year ago, and today they are very much optimistic that one day, they will actually be playing in the World Cup series.
Now with the World Cup 2006 creating waves worldwide amongst its crazy fan followers, even the Young female players are hooked to the television set, watching their favorite players, striking fantabulous goals in Germany.
Unfortunately, for these young players, they do not have a proper platform to show off their talent just because of the conservative mindset of the society.
